A large antique Chinese silk hand embroidered wall hanging portraying five dragons, with one large one in the centre, surrounded by four smaller ones, with a floral inner border and outer border.
A well embroidered wall hanging which looks rather majestic.
In my opinion the wall hanging probably dates from the late 19th century.

Condition
The hanging is in quite good original condition for its age. There are some areas of staining, and also a small 9 cm long tear on the edge, on the bottom right-hand side, where it has become detached from the lining, which can be stitched back on, and doesn't detract from the embroidery.

The wall hanging measures nearly137 cm long by 121 cm wide (or 54 inches by 47.5 inches).
